We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as set out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

We also strive to comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR), including standards for:

  • Customer service accessibility
  • Information and communications
  • Employment accessibility

Measures Taken

RKM Business Consultants takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:

  • Using sufficient colour contrast ratios for all text and interactive elements
  • Providing descriptive alt text for all meaningful images
  • Ensuring all form fields have clear labels and error messages
  • Structuring content with appropriate headings (H1–H6) for easy navigation
  • Ensuring all links have descriptive, meaningful text
  • Avoiding reliance on colour alone to convey information
  • Providing a readable font size of at least 16px for body text
  • Ensuring videos and multimedia content include captions where applicable

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our website may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria. We are actively working to identify and remediate any issues. Current known areas of improvement include:

  • Some third-party embedded content (e.g., maps) may have limited accessibility features
  • Certain older document formats (PDFs) may not be fully screen-reader compatible

We are committed to addressing these limitations in ongoing updates.

Assistive Technologies Supported

Our website has been tested with and is intended to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (iOS/macOS), TalkBack (Android)
